Three former British athletes, Will Sharman, Richard Sharman, and Lamin Deen, were convicted in Morocco for participating in the enticement of a minor related to a case involving sprinting coach Leon Baptiste. Baptiste is serving an eight-month prison sentence for sexual assault. The convictions were revealed after a BBC Sport investigation, following reports of Baptiste being missing. The group, which maintained they were unaware of the minor's age and the legal proceedings against them, received suspended sentences and fines. Their lawyers stated they believed the issue had been resolved earlier with an administrative fine.
