More than 200 NFL players express interest in Olympics flag football

Over 200 players from the NFL are looking to participate in the flag football competition at the 2028 Olympics. NFL Senior Vice President, Global Flag Football, Brian Flinn, indicated that while there is strong interest, only 32 players will ultimately be allowed to compete, with each team permitted to send just one player. The United States will have to balance selections between career flag-football players and those from the NFL. USA Football plans to announce the selection process for the U.S. team by the end of 2026.
