More than 30,000 runners participate in San Diego's Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series

Over 30,000 runners joined the 28th annual Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series in San Diego on Sunday. The marathon and half-marathon routes spanned neighborhoods such as downtown San Diego and Mission Valley, culminating at Waterfront Park with live music. Sara Bagnell of San Diego claimed the women’s marathon title with a time of 2:57:46, while Isaac Hernandez of Willow Park, Texas, won the men's race in 2:28:54. The event experienced a 10% increase in participants compared to the previous year, with many runners taking part for the first time.
