Morris County throwers shine at Meet of Champions in Pennsauken

During the NJSIAA Meet of Champions in Pennsauken on June 3, Morris County athletes excelled in throwing events. Montville senior Anthony Agnoli won the discus with a personal best of 186 feet, 6 inches, while Glen Rock's Evan Yuzon captured the shot put title with a throw of 61 feet, 9 inches. Roxbury's Matthew Donnelly secured third place in the shot put with a PR of 60 feet, 4 inches. Boonton’s Walter Hedblom-Green finished third in the javelin with a personal best of 190 feet, 9 inches, and Mountain Lakes junior Joseph Nigro took fifth place, also with a personal best. The event showcased significant achievements by throwers from smaller schools in Morris County.
