Most Valuable Promotions and PFL merge to form new combat sports organization

Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and the Professional Fighters League (PFL) have merged to create a unified combat sports organization. The partnership will be spearheaded by MVP co-founders Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, alongside PFL CEO John Martin. Bringing together a roster of over 300 fighters, this merger aims to transform the MMA by offering enhanced opportunities for fighters. MVP, which started in 2021 focusing on boxing, made its MMA debut in May with a successful event featuring Ronda Rousey. The PFL, established in 2017, has sought to innovate the MMA structure and has made significant changes to its prize money as of 2025. The organizations emphasize that this collaboration is designed to expedite growth and create a larger platform for combat sports.
