Opening the show, they engaged with the crowd, declaring their connection to Detroit and receiving a warm welcome. The duo had previously appeared in AEW in 2022 and were released from WWE in April. Additionally, Insane Clown Posse made an appearance, participating in an ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on stage, contributing to the event's atmosphere. The taping aired live on TNT and HBO Max.
