Playing as a center back, Cayetano led the Rainbow Wahine to two consecutive nonconference shutouts during the previous week. She played 161 total minutes in a 3-0 victory over New Mexico State on Thursday and a 0-0 draw against Washington State on Sunday. The defensive unit allowed only one shot on goal and 12 total attempts across those two matches, extending the team's scoreless streak to more than 400 minutes. This honor marks the second time a Hawaii player has received the weekly award this season, following Olivia Dianda's selection on Aug. 24. The Rainbow Wahine, currently 3-3-1, resume play on Sept. 24 with their Mountain West conference opener against Colorado College.
