Mourinho considers new midfield role for Real Madrid's Alexander-Arnold

Summary

Jose Mourinho is exploring a potential midfield role for Trent Alexander-Arnold at Real Madrid, according to reports. The decision follows Alexander-Arnold's exclusion from England's World Cup squad and the team's signing of Denzel Dumfries, who is expected to start ahead of him at right-back. Mourinho believes Alexander-Arnold has the technical ability to contribute in midfield, but the inclusion would require a change in formation or dropping one of the current midfielders. Details about how the new signing fits into the team's strategy remain to be seen.
