Mourinho considers Tchouameni for defense amid Madrid's injury woes

Summary

Real Madrid's ongoing defensive issues may see Aurelien Tchouameni shifted from midfield to center-back for the upcoming match against Villarreal on October 10. With several defenders sidelined due to injuries, only Antonio Rudiger might be available as a senior option. Tchouameni has experience in defense but his absence from midfield could disrupt the team's balance, particularly as Fede Valverde is also injured. Mario Rivas is another potential option, though Mourinho must weigh the risks of fielding an inexperienced defender against a challenging opponent.
