Mourinho targets Ruben Dias as defensive signing for Real Madrid

Summary

Jose Mourinho is reportedly eyeing Manchester City defender Ruben Dias as a key addition to Real Madrid's defense during their summer rebuild. Having already signed players such as Marc Cucurella and Ibrahima Konaté, Mourinho's focus now shifts to strengthening the centre-back position. Although Dias has been identified as a top target, Manchester City is unwilling to consider any offers, viewing him as an essential part of their squad. Real Madrid remains interested due to the involvement of Jorge Mendes, Dias's agent, who has a strong relationship with both the player and the club. The situation could evolve if Manchester City's stance changes.
