Michigan State hockey will welcome defenseman Tommy Bleyl to its roster for the upcoming 2026-27 season. Bleyl was selected 31st overall in the NHL Entry Draft by the Nashville Predators. Originally expected to return to the Moncton Wildcats in the QMJHL, Bleyl confirmed his decision to join the Spartans instead. He previously recorded 13 goals and 68 assists in 63 games last season in the QMJHL. His addition is anticipated to strengthen MSU's defense this fall.
