Mudau injury overshadows Sundowns' win over Marumo Gallants

Mamelodi Sundowns defeated Marumo Gallants 2-0 in the South African Premiership on August 19. The match, played at Loftus Versfeld stadium in Pretoria, was marred by an Achilles tendon injury to Sundowns full-back Khuliso Mudau, who was carried off on a stretcher in the first half. Sundowns took the lead in the 21st minute with a goal from Malibongwe Khoza and doubled their advantage in the 67th minute thanks to Cassius Mailula.
