Muncie Central football shuts out Marion 54-0 at homecoming game

Muncie Central football secured a 54-0 victory over Marion during their homecoming game on September 18. The Bearcats achieved their first shutout against Marion since 1994, dominating both offensively and defensively. Muncie Central's defense held Marion to just 93 total yards and forced three turnovers. Junior quarterback Mason Ferguson completed 7-of-11 passes for 224 yards and four touchdowns, while the Bearcats’ special teams contributed with a blocked punt and a touchdown on a punt return. The game marked Muncie Central's largest win over Marion since 1946, leading to a running clock for the majority of the second half.
