Munetaka Murakami goes 1-for-4 with RBI double in Triple-A game

Chicago White Sox slugger Munetaka Murakami played his second injury rehab game with Triple-A Charlotte on July 8. He recorded an RBI double in the first inning but ended the game with a 1-for-4 performance as Charlotte lost 6-3 to Nashville. The game saw Murakami also draw a walk and score a run. He has been sidelined since May 30 due to a right hamstring strain. Manager Will Venable noted prior to the game that Murakami has shown positive signs of recovery.
