Murf Gray exhibits strong performance as Pirates prospect in MiLB

Murf Gray, a Pittsburgh Pirates prospect, continues to impress in Minor League Baseball. Currently playing for the Double-A Altoona Curve, the 22-year-old third baseman boasts a season slash line of.302/.403/.966 with 28 home runs. After being drafted 73rd overall from Fresno State last year, Gray has quickly ascended the minor league ranks. He had his fifth homer in Double-A on August 20 and leads all Pirates minor leaguers in OPS and hits. His defensive future may shift as he adjusts to higher-level pitching.
