Mykhailo Mudryk has been cleared to return to competitive play after serving less than two years of a four-year doping ban. The FA confirmed that Mudryk accepted a violation of anti-doping regulations, which began in December 2024. Changes to regulations concerning meldonium helped justify the end of his ban, and the FA has assessed that the period he has already served is sufficient. The 25-year-old winger last appeared for Chelsea in November 2024 and has five years remaining on his contract.
