Myles Garrett earns top spot in annual NFL player rankings

Summary

Myles Garrett received recognition as the best player in the NFL following a peer-voted poll ahead of the 2026 season. The pass rusher reacted emotionally to the honors after a previous campaign where he recorded a league-record 23 sacks. This accomplishment adds to his career accolades, which already include two Defensive Player of the Year awards and multiple first-team All-Pro selections.
