Myles Garrett joins LA Rams from Browns in major trade

Summary

Cleveland Browns star pass-rusher Myles Garrett has been traded to the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams acquired Garrett in exchange for Jared Verse and draft compensation. Garrett, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, is expected to enhance an already potent Rams roster that includes last year's MVP, Matthew Stafford, and offensive playmakers like Davante Adams and Puka Nacua. This trade positions the Rams as strong contenders for the Super Bowl in 2026, coinciding with the championship game's return to Los Angeles. The team’s coaching staff, led by Sean McVay, aims to maximize Garrett's impact on defense, particularly now that the Rams possess one of the league's top offenses.
