Myles Garrett records no stats in Rams loss to 49ers

Myles Garrett finished his Los Angeles Rams debut without a tackle or sack during the team's 27-7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday, Sept. 10. The veteran edge rusher, acquired in a trade for Jared Verse and three draft picks, appeared to struggle with a persistent lower-leg injury throughout the game. Reports indicated Garrett exited the field frequently and appeared winded during the matchup. He had been limited throughout training camp because of the injury, though he did not carry an official injury designation entering the contest. Garrett previously recorded 23 sacks during his final season with the Cleveland Browns.
