Nairobi confirmed as host for 2029 World Athletics Championships

The world athletics championships will go to Africa for the first time in 2029 in Nairobi and then return to Germany for the 2031 edition in Munich. Governing body World Athletics said on Tuesday that the Kenyan capital and the Bavarian city were chosen by its council as hosts at meetings in Budapest.
