FC Nantes is reportedly considering Michel Der Zakarian to lead the team back to Ligue 1 after their relegation to Ligue 2. Der Zakarian, who previously managed Nantes from 2007 to 2008 and from 2012 to 2016, is regarded as a strong candidate following Vahid Halilhodžić’s departure. Having already secured two promotions with the club, his local ties and recent appearances at Nantes events fuel speculation about a comeback. Final decisions are expected as the club looks to rebuild ahead of the 2027-28 season.
