NASCAR Cup Series and O’Reilly Auto Parts Series head to WTT Raceway

NASCAR arrives at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois, this weekend for a doubleheader featuring the Cup Series and the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. The Enjoy Illinois 300 serves as the second race of the Chase for both series, marking the fifth time the Cup Series has competed at this 1.25-mile track. Practice and qualifying sessions for both series are scheduled for Saturday, September 12, followed by the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Nu Way 225 race that evening. The Cup Series Enjoy Illinois 300 is set for Sunday, September 13. Denny Hamlin enters the weekend as the defending race winner and currently leads the Chase standings with a 12-point margin over Christopher Bell. Broadcast coverage for the Cup Series is scheduled on USA Network, with additional viewer access through the HBO Max Driver Cam.
