The NASCAR Cup Series is set for its first Saturday night race of the 2026 season at Richmond on August 14. The Cook Out 400 will begin at 7 p.m. in what promises to be a significant event as it marks the first of three Saturday evening races in the coming weeks. Prior events on Friday include both Truck Series practice and qualifying, followed by the Truck Series race later that night at 7:30 p.m. The weekend also features Cup Series qualifying earlier in the day.
