NASCAR debuts Naval Base Coronado street course in San Diego

The NASCAR tripleheader race weekend kicks off today at Naval Base Coronado, San Diego. This event marks the first time the series competes on this temporary street course, which spans 3.4 miles and includes 16 turns. The Craftsman Truck Series race is the initial event, followed by the United Rentals Driven to Serve 250 and Anduril 250 races later. The course features unique characteristics, such as railroad tracks near turn 4 and variations in pavement surfaces. Competitors will navigate along the scenic San Diego Bay harbor, maintaining a new venue atmosphere for the series.
