The NASCAR Truck Series Chase opener at Bristol Motor Speedway is currently delayed due to an oil spill caused by Caden Kvapil's No. 76 Chevrolet, which ruptured an oil line on Lap 171. The race was stopped to allow crews to clean the track, with 79 laps still remaining. Prior to the red flag, Jake Garcia led the race, having taken over from Layne Riggs, who won the first two stages. Cold weather had already canceled qualifying earlier, impacting the track conditions. As of now, the race remains under red flag, and a restart time will be announced once the track is deemed safe.
