Natalie Bremer named DII women's Honda Athlete of the Year

BasketballNatalie Bremer, a guard for Minnesota State University, Mankato, has been awarded the DII Women's Honda Athlete of the Year. Announced on June 30, the honor recognizes her achievements on the court and in academics and community service. Bremer, who ended her collegiate career as the all-time leading scorer for the Mavericks with 2,371 points, averaged 21.8 points this past season. The award was decided by senior women administrators from more than 1,000 NCAA member schools and will be presented in a live event on CBS Sports Network on July 27.
