Natasha Thomas brings international experience to Wrexham Women's Champions League squad

Forward Natasha Thomas joined Wrexham Women this summer following a tenure at Ipswich Town, marking her debut with a goal in the club's 4-2 Women's Champions League qualifying victory against FC Pyunik. The 30-year-old brings professional experience to the Welsh champions as they compete in the tournament for the first time. Thomas, who has earned six caps for Jamaica since 2024, credited her background in the Suffolk side's squad development as a factor in her transition to the north Wales team. Wrexham head coach Jenny Sugarman noted that Thomas offers tactical understanding and hold-up play to the roster as the squad adjusts to the demands of European competition. The signing follows Wrexham's promotion to semi-professional status and their recent Adran Premier league title.
