Nate Ament was drafted 13th overall in the 2026 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks. Due to a trade involving Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks are not yet in possession of the pick from the Miami Heat, even though it was made on their behalf. Ament will be expected to help fill the void left by Giannis. The trade is set to be finalized after July 6, allowing the Bucks to officially finalize Ament's situation in Miami's draft. While Ament donned a Heat hat at the draft, he will play for the Bucks once the transaction is complete.
