Nathan Davis qualifies for NCAA track championship meet

Nathan Davis, an Army steeplechaser, has qualified for the NCAA track championship meet scheduled for later this week. He finished ninth at the East Regional qualifier in Kentucky with a time of 8 minutes, 34.35 seconds. This marks his second consecutive qualification for the NCAA championships, where he aims to improve upon his previous performance. Davis has also qualified for the U.S. track and field nationals set for July and is a candidate for the Army’s World Class Athlete Program, possibly leading to the 2028 Olympics. His coach, Michael Smith, believes Davis could be Army's first point scorer at the NCAAs since 2001.
