Nathan Sowter signs multi-year white-ball contract with Surrey

Surrey has secured the signature of leg-spinner Nathan Sowter on a multi-year white-ball deal. The 33-year-old will depart Durham to join the club ahead of the 2027 season. Sowter brings extensive experience to the Kia Oval, having previously played for both the Oval Invincibles and MI London in the format. His professional career began with Middlesex in 2015 following a stint in club cricket with the Surrey-based team Normandy. The bowler has recorded 196 wickets across 195 T20 matches throughout his career, which includes appearances in the Caribbean Premier League and the International League T20. He recently earned his first England Lions call-up during a series against the Pakistan Shaheens earlier this year.
