Nathanial Vakos explores return to college football for 2026 season

Former Wisconsin Badgers kicker Nathanial Vakos is considering a return to college football following a recent court ruling that grants players from the Class of 2022 an additional year of eligibility. Vakos, who played for the Badgers for three seasons after transferring from Ohio, posted a field goal conversion rate of 69.4 percent during his time at Wisconsin. With Vakos out of eligibility, the Badgers are set to use Gavin Lahm as their kicker for the upcoming season. The offseason may see other players also exploring their options for a fifth year as a result of the ruling.
