NBA 2K27 simulation projects Minnesota Timberwolves as league leaders

Yahoo Sports conducted a full season simulation using the NBA 2K27 video game to forecast team and player performances for the upcoming year. The simulation resulted in a 63-19 record for the Minnesota Timberwolves, who finished with the best mark in the NBA under coach Chris Finch. Conversely, the Philadelphia 76ers experienced a difficult campaign, ending with a 27-55 record despite the addition of LeBron James and Jaylen Brown. LeBron James posted career-low averages in minutes, points, and assists during his age-42 season. Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks struggled following the trade of Giannis Antetokounmpo, finishing as the league's lowest-performing team. The simulation also noted early injury struggles for Giannis Antetokounmpo during his first season with the Miami Heat.
