NBA bans Dennis Robertson from league business for five years

The NBA issued a five-year ban against Dennis Robertson, the former business representative for Kawhi Leonard, following an investigation into the Los Angeles Clippers. The ruling prohibits Robertson from conducting business or engaging with any NBA teams or affiliates on behalf of league personnel. League investigators concluded that the Clippers facilitated improper off-court income opportunities for Kawhi Leonard, which involved several external companies and failures to report solicitations made by Robertson. In addition to the ban, the NBA fined the Los Angeles Clippers $30 million and stripped the organization of five first-round draft picks. Owner Steve Ballmer faces a one-year suspension, while executives Lawrence Frank and Gillian Zucker also received suspensions. Kawhi Leonard must pay a $700,000 penalty to the league, though he remains eligible to play. The Los Angeles Clippers indicated they intend to challenge the findings.
