NBPA opens new training facility in Los Angeles for players

The National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) unveiled a new 24/7 training facility in Playa Vista, Los Angeles, on August 5, 2026. The facility, which measures 42,500 square feet and cost $50 million, features two full-sized courts, a premium weight room, and culinary options. The NBPA's initiative aims to meet the training needs of over 200 NBA players who frequent Los Angeles during the offseason. This facility, developed based on player input, builds on the success of the NY facility and addresses specific demands such as nutrition and wellness resources. More than 80 players have already utilized the space since its soft launch earlier this summer.
