The top-ranked Huskers edged No. 17 Florida 21-19, 21-17, before dominating No. 11 SMU 21-12, 21-11. Coach Dani Busboom Kelly noted the unique environment and the team’s adjustment to the bright stadium lights. The victory brought an additional $150,000 to the program. Nebraska’s regular season begins Saturday against UNLV in Las Vegas, followed by a match against No. 2 Texas on Sunday.
