Nebraska hires Geep Wade to overhaul struggling offensive line

Summary

Nebraska has appointed Geep Wade as its new offensive line coach in a bid to enhance a struggling unit. Wade, previously with Georgia Tech, has been tasked with revitalizing a line that has faced significant challenges, including a lack of notable talent production. He is joined by run-game coordinator Lonnie Teasley, who previously helped South Carolina achieve high rushing yard totals. Key new starters include Paul Mubenga, Brendan Black, and Tree Babalade, each bringing valuable experience to the team. The upcoming season will serve as a pivotal test for the revamped offensive line scheme, with expectations of a blend of blocking strategies departing from previous approaches.
