The Nebraska volleyball team defeated South Dakota State in a three-set match on Wednesday at the First Bank and Trust Arena in Brookings. A crowd of 5,113 fans attended the event, marking the largest attendance for a volleyball match in the history of South Dakota. While Nebraska completed a sweep, South Dakota State managed its highest scoring output against the top-ranked team this season during the second set. The match served as a homecoming for Nebraska setter Bergen Reilly, a graduate of O'Gorman High School who played before family and local supporters. South Dakota State head coach Dan Georgalas noted the program's significant growth since its 2021 relaunch.
