Nebraska's Manaia Ogbechie added to AVCA Player of the Year Watch List

Manaia Ogbechie, a sophomore middle blocker for Nebraska, has been named to the AVCA Player of the Year Watch List. She is among 16 players added mid-season, joining three other Huskers who were previously selected. Ogbechie is averaging 2.19 kills per set with a hitting percentage of.427 and 1.21 blocks per set. Earlier this season, she earned Big Ten Player of the Week honors after strong performances in three matches. The semifinalists for the award will be announced in November, with finalists revealed on December 14, and the award presented on December 18.
