Neely Kight commits to Miami women's golf program

Neely Kight, a junior golfer from South Walton, has committed to the University of Miami to play women's golf. Kight, who is ranked among the top 50 golfers of the 2028 class, expressed excitement about the Hurricanes’ coaching staff and facilities. Following a successful freshman year where she helped lead her team to a state title, Kight recorded notable past performances, including a win at the Tuscaloosa Junior Championship. With two years of high school golf remaining, she aims to help South Walton secure another state championship and compete for an individual title. Kight's commitment comes after Miami's recent struggles at the ACC Championship, where they had no individual top-30 finishes last year.
