Neemias Queta joins community heritage event in Cambridge this Saturday

Boston Celtics center Neemias Queta will participate in a public community event on Saturday, September 12, at the King Open School in Cambridge. The event, titled "Court Get Together: A Taste of Portugal," celebrates the regional Portuguese community through art, food, and basketball-related activities. Organizers installed a custom-designed court at the school that features artwork highlighting the professional journey of Queta. André Costa, the CEO of Hoopers, described the project as a way to combine sports and cultural identity. King Open School principal Darren Williams noted that the presence of Celtics representatives is intended to provide a memorable experience for local youth. The event is open to the public at no cost.
