Neil Leibman departs from Texas Rangers leadership role

Neil Leibman is leaving his position with the Texas Rangers effective immediately. Having been a part of the organization since 2010, he has held multiple roles, including COO and president of business operations. Leibman's departure follows his involvement with the ownership group that purchased the team from Tom Hicks. Despite stepping down from his position, he will retain his ownership interest in the Rangers.
