Nell Morris-Dalton restarts her AFLW career with Carlton

Nell Morris-Dalton has secured a spot on the Carlton list as an injury replacement player for the 2026 AFLW season. This transition follows her delisting from Collingwood at the end of last year and a period spent playing in the VFLW for Carlton. Over the course of seven AFLW seasons, Morris-Dalton has played 41 games across three clubs while navigating various injuries and personal challenges. Now working as a nurse at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, she reports finding a renewed sense of confidence and enjoyment in football. The player credits her recent shift in perspective and the environment at the Carlton VFLW program under Aasta O'Connor for helping her return to the senior level. She has now appeared in three matches during the 2026 season.
