Nembhard brothers among Gonzaga alumni named to Canada national team pool

Andrew and Ryan Nembhard, along with Kelly Olynyk and Kyle Wiltjer, have been named to Canada's men's national basketball team player pool ahead of the 2027 FIBA World Cup qualifying games in July. The team will be coached by Gordon Herbert. Andrew Nembhard, coming off a successful NBA season with the Indiana Pacers, previously competed for Canada in the 2019 FIBA World Cup. Ryan Nembhard, who recently joined the Dallas Mavericks, may make his senior national team debut next month. Canada will play qualifying games against Puerto Rico and Jamaica in Hamilton, Ontario, next month.
