Nestory Irankunda joins Sporting from Watford on five-year deal

Australian winger Nestory Irankunda has transferred from Watford to Sporting, finalizing a five-year contract that runs until 2031. The deal includes an initial fee of €15 million, with potential performance-related bonuses of up to €3 million. Irankunda arrives in Portugal after a productive season at Watford, where he made 42 appearances and contributed four goals and four assists. He previously spent time with Bayern Munich before establishing himself in England. Irankunda has also represented Australia in the 2026 World Cup.
