The NFL season's first Thursday Night Football game between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams will take place September 10 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia. This international matchup serves as the league's first regular-season game in the country and is scheduled to kick off at 8:35 p.m. ET. Unlike the remaining 2026 Thursday Night Football schedule, which streams on Amazon Prime Video starting September 17, the opening week game will stream exclusively on Netflix. Viewers can access the broadcast via various Netflix subscription plans that range from $8.99 to $26.99 per month. Following this international event, the standard weekly broadcast schedule will return to Amazon Prime Video for the duration of the season, excluding the Thanksgiving night game on NBC and Peacock.
