Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe outlines expectations for first starting role

Brooklyn Nets center Day'Ron Sharpe is poised to be a starter for the first time in his NBA career. Following the offseason trade of Nic Claxton to the Chicago Bulls, Sharpe discussed his expectations during Media Day, emphasizing the need to pace himself while playing harder. He averaged 8.7 points and 6.7 rebounds last season, excelling in his spot starts. With preseason set to begin next week against the Charlotte Hornets, head coach Jordi Fernandez has yet to confirm the starting lineup, but Sharpe is anticipated to be among the starters as the Nets continue their rebuild.
