Nets evaluate 2025 draft class ahead of 2026-27 NBA season

Summary

The Brooklyn Nets prepare for training camp next month as they head into the 2026-27 NBA season with their 2025 draft class advancing into their second year. General manager Sean Marks faces scrutiny over the effectiveness of five first-round picks last season. While guard Egor Demin has drawn interest, the overall impact of the draft class remains uncertain due to performance concerns from last year. The Nets look to improve their lineup, potentially featuring Mikel Brown Jr., Demin, Michael Porter Jr., Julius Randle, and Day'Ron Sharpe, with the remaining draft picks aiming to secure bench roles during training camp.
