Nets show interest in Cavs guard Keon Ellis for free agency

Summary

The Brooklyn Nets may pursue Keon Ellis from the Cleveland Cavaliers as they build their roster for the upcoming season. With the Nets looking to pair Ellis with incoming rookie Mikel Brown Jr., his relationship with head coach Jordi Fernández is seen as a significant factor. Last season, Ellis showcased improved performance in Cleveland, increasing his scoring, rebounding, and assisting numbers while also being a defensive asset. He averaged 1.4 steals and 1.1 blocks per game, and his shooting talent could complement Brown’s offensive capabilities. Ellis had strong offensive outings towards the end of the regular season, making him an appealing option for General Manager Sean Marks.
