New Canaan football extends winning streak to 25 games with latest shutout

The New Canaan football team reached 25 consecutive wins after shutting out Fairfield Prep. This follows a 14-0 loss to Masuk in Week 3 of 2024, after which the Rams claimed 10 straight victories and two state titles. The 25-game streak is impressive, but the team is still working towards the state record of 49 consecutive wins held by Cheshire from the 1990s. The Rams’ quest for a continued streak includes challenging upcoming matches against New Britain, St. Joseph, Greenwich, and Darien. They began the season with a Class L championship victory last fall and look to add to their wins this season.
