New England Patriots release running back Lan Larison before roster deadline

The New England Patriots released running back Lan Larison on August 30, 2026, ahead of the league's final roster deadline. Larison joined the organization in May 2025 but spent his rookie season on injured reserve after suffering a preseason injury.
